Bi-lingual, Virtual Social Worker available to ALL Middlesex Libraries and their communities through RWJ Foundation Grant

A virtual social worker is available to all residents of Middlesex County through November 30th. This grant is provided by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for the purpose of addressing the detrimental physical, social, financial, and mental health fallout caused by the pandemic that is impacting all communities.

The social worker, Emerith Hernandez Cortes, is bi-lingual and will provide social work assistance in both English and Spanish. Emerith has “virtual” office hours for people to schedule free appointments.

This grant is a partnership between Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Holy Name Family Parish in New Brunswick, and East Brunswick Public Library – but is a county-wide grant for all residents of Middlesex County.
